My social media credentials were approved for a NASA Social Event WHICH MEANSSSSS I get to attend talks and tour facilities to share with y’all on Miss Aerospace. I have attended a NASA Social before and had an amazing time but one thing I wanted to change this time around is get y’all more involved! Let’s get to the details:
What is it? An event to showcase JPSS-1 (Joint Polar Satellite System) - It is a joint effort by NASA and NOAA to study Earth Science (atmospheric, oceanic, terrestrial conditions…etc). I will be able to see the satellite before it gets packed and talk to the chief scientists and engineers.
When is it? June 19th
How can you get involved? Send me your questions! I am here to share this information with YOU so who better to be asking the questions. Please preface questions with “On JPSS-1:” so I know this is something you want me to ask at the event. I will also be going live on my Instagram that day to share briefings as they happen so be sure to follow me there (or at least on June 19th).
